The Allen Ginsberg Estate releases Volume 1 of Allen Ginsberg’s ‘Fall of America’ Musical Tribute, dedicated to Hal Willner and supporting Headcount.org
This musical journey came out of the imagination of Jesse Goodman and Peter Hale and is an album worthy of Allen’s words! It is also an album where all of these singularly stellar artists donated their time and creativity to these amazing tracks: Angelique Kidjo’s track is from the heart to the heart. Such incredible music here: Aliah Rosenthal, Thurston Moore, Yo lo Tengo, Mickey Hart, Ed Sanders….In this season of madness, in these times we need the voices of these artists more than ever. and we need to keep hearing Allen’s voice…

He writes the scene in all its complexity, the busts of excitements and Dionysian excesses as well as darker images, such as the sculpture of the hanged man.
